When James Cameron conceived the idea for ‘AVATAR’ 15 years ago, the technology wasn't available. Over the past few years, with the help of Autodesk softwares, he was able to bring his vision to life.
Autodesk Maya and Autodesk 3ds max software used to help create digital characters and environments, the actors performance were applied to CG characters and viewed in real time by the director by Autodesk MotionBuilder software and Autodesk Mudbox software was used for digital sculpting.
Rays & Hues is the first Autodesk Media & Entertainment centre in Kerala.
The Annamalai University owes its existence to the wisdom, benefaction and philanthropy of a far-sighted visionary- Dr. Rajah Sir Annamalai Chettiar of Chettinad. As early as 1920, he founded Sri Minakshi College in Chidambaram, a great pilgrimage centre and also a centre for South Indian traditional culture and learning.
In 1928, the Annamalai University Act was passed and Sri Minakshi College paved the way for the establishment of Annamalai University.
